I bought this for an additional fitness tool. Love how easy it was to adjust!

Jump rope cord is coiled up in the package and the cord will stay kinked for the life of the rope. I was hanging mine up and it would kink at the point it was hung from. So for the several weeks that I had the rope it was never straight. I ended the life of the jumprope when it dropped out of my hand onto the floor and the cap that holds the cord to the handle snapped in half. What a piece of junk. I had jump ropes growing up that were better quality than this thing. Look elsewhere.

I bought this jump rope from Dunham Sports and afer just a few weeks of use it broke in half from normal use.

Just got addicted to jumping rope recently and wanted a rope to give a little extra umphh to my workout. This rope definitely does the trick. To all that complained about the rope getting tangled, you need to really use some power to get the rope going. Once you get it going it is nice and smooth. I wouldnt buy this rope if your trying to speed jump or do tricks because the weight of it causes some issues. I am not great at crossing the rope or doing double unders but I’ve used lighter ropes and its much easier with lighter ropes. If you are looking to tone your arms (especially forearms) this is the rope. Adjusting the length is kind of a pain. If you need to adjust the length you have to open the handles. The rope is held by a sturdy piece of metal. There is a less sturdy piece of metal that hangs loose in the handle. To adjust the length you get the length you want and then cut off the excess length, then you take the less sturdy loose piece of metal and using pliers you crimp it into the rope and then put the handle back on. The only complaint I have on this rope is that less sturdy piece of metal really needs to be crimped tightly or the rope flies out of the handle. I actually had to call Valeo customer service and request a bunch of those pieces of metal used to crimp the rope at adjusted lengths. Otherwise this rope gives you a great cardio burn and you’d be surprised at how the extra weight does make a difference. I am 6 feet tall and had to take maybe 2-3 inches off each side.
