I got this to replace the belt I lost. It works just like the original… I only gave four stars because it wouldn’t transmit for a while when I first opened it. I realized this was because it was too flat from the packaging and it was fine after the plastic loosened up a little.
I bought this to use with my Schwinn Airdyne Evo Comp Exercise Bike and it works. It would be nice if there was an on/off button but it does the job. Based on the other reviews I hope the battery lasts a few years at least.
My Polar T31 non-coded transmitter & Belt works absolutely great. It synchronized with the Polar watch the first time I wore the belt.
I purchased this monitor to do some heart rate zone training on the treadmill (treadmill automatically adjusts incline to stay in the target zone). It seems to work okay and I like not having to use the handgrips for heart rate. The strap fits fine, no discomfort. My biggest problem may be the strap or it may be the treadmill, but I have to be at the very front of the treadmill for it to pick up the signal. If I back off at all it loses the signal. I have only used it while walking, but I think this could be particularly annoying while running as I do not run that close to the front of the treadmill. If the problem is the treadmill, I’d give the transmitter five stars. If the problem is the transmitter, I’d give it 2 stars.
I bought this to use with a TACX Fortius virtual reality bicycle trainer.
works fine. The chest strap should be worn with the sensor placed to the middle of the chest for optimum pickup. You will also need to apply some moisture (spit) to far right and far left of the strap to make sure sensors have proper electrical conductivity.
