I am a pretty low-tech person, so I wanted a pedometer [[ASIN:B001IV5ZHS Omron HJ-303 GoSmart Tri-Axis Pocket Pedometer] to count my daily steps, did not need lots of razzle-dazzle. This Omron pedometer is perfect for me. And — if I want to do more than count my steps, it has some extra features on it, but it will not interact with my pc which is a feature I like. At midnight each day, it starts over with a daily step count.
Easy to set up. Easy to use. Love the compactness and that you can just carry in your pocket rather than having some clunky thing clipped on your belt. Quiet! Doesn’t make any clicking sound. Well built. I’d highly recommend this to any of my friends interested in having a pedometer.
I love this pedometer. I just slip it in my pocket and go. It works perfect without having to clip it on my waistband.
I purchased this unit for my wife in February. She likes it very much. I purchased one for myself. The unit will not keep time. I replaced the battery with a new one and there is no change. I ordered an exchanged unit from amazon and the new unit is doing the same thing. The time is random. It gains time, or just resets. When it is working as expected, it is a nice device like all the other omron units. I suspect there is a bad batch on units (made in china). I will be returning this one and waiting a few months to get another.
This pedometer really works as advertised. It stays clipped on your pants waist or pocket well. It does read your strides in a precise manner. I have had other units but this is my absolute favorite. Haven’t tried using it shoved in a pocket or such but ya never know.
