   Great video and product. But to do workouts as shown you have to keep moving the door attachment – very cumbersome. Would be better if you had three different door attachments, one for each height. Or regroup the exercises according to height of attachment.

   I’ve been in the weight room for several years now, but with college and work taking their expected tolls, I considered complimenting my free weight routine with a flexible home gym product. Obviously I have neither the space nor capital to get a bench, squat rack, and full plate set, so I shopped around and found resistance tubes to be the hot item. It’s a great concept, just attach a few heavy elastic bands to a couple of handles and away you go. Resistance bands have the added bonus of allowing body motions that may be difficult with free weights.

   Unfortunately this home gym set is just not quality material. I used the bands lightly for the first few days to ensure they could hold standard weight. On my first real routine, however, I made it through exactly four sets of heavy chest presses with all three bands, and one and a half sets of shoulder presses with the heavy and medium bands before the medium band broke off it’s plastic clip. Needless to say, the heavy band went shortly after during a series of shrugs. I’m pretty disappointed with the flimsy quality of this product. I expected, at the very least, a month of two of usage before anything snapped, but instead they barely held up for a week and only a quarter of an actual day’s routine.

   So, if you’re looking to just get into personal fitness these bands will probably suit you well for light exercises, complimented by a good free weight program. But, if you’ve been in the gym for even a moderate period of time over the past year, chances are these bands just won’t cut it for you. They have their purpose, and apparently moderate to heavy lifting is not one of them. I’m tempted to check out the Bodylastics band set, but I’m hesitant about even that.

   the resistant tubes are good and the DVD comes with good workout plans. I have used this kit for 1 month and at the same time watched my diet. I already lose 3 pounds:)

   I have used resistance bands frequently for my shoulder and back rehab over the past 10 years. I am used to them eventually wearing out and snapping, but that usually happens after a few years, not a few usages. The green one snapped at the plastic handle end after maybe 8 sessions. In addition, there is only one set of interchangeable handles for all of the bands which use carabiners to attach. The carabiners are large and awkwardly stick out. They scratched the heck out of my arms when doing military presses. I was very disappointed in the product.
