I bought these bands from Amazon, and after a month of use, one of them snapped during a workout, slapping me in the side, leg, and foot and causing severe bruising. The break happened two days after the return period expired, and now I’m out $40.
The bands seem to really nice, I however got really unlucky. The yellow band broke after the 2nd use, it was defective to begin with. We’ll see how great their customer service is now. I can’t find a number on their site, nor an email address. The only way to contact them is through Amazon. I hope they send me a replacement asap.
I was looking for a set that offered flexibility and durability. This is perfect. You can combine bands and it comes with straps and handles. Plus there is a very nice door anchor – handy when traveling. Compact and sturdy. It also came with a tip sheet for nutrition – that was excellent. No new material for me but excellent re-reinforcement. AWESOME and exactly what I was looking for.
These bands work good before they break. The bands don’t snap but the come out of the part its held into. I would recommend spending some extra dollars because your going to end up buying new ones or have to deal with sending them back and them sending you new ones….that will break too. Will work if you pan on using them once a month.
I’ve been using these bands for about 3 days now and they’ve been great so far. The four assorted bands really help with finding that perfect resistance for each workout. I’m currently using these with the P90x, and they are exactly what you want for this workout. I guess the only thing i do not like about this product is the door anchor. It does serve its basic purpose, but if/when you’ve got a lot of bands connected to it you need to know that its not going to come back and hit you. My first mistake was putting the door anchor right directly above the locking mechanism for the door knob, and when i pulled down on the bands it unlocked the door and came back hitting me in the chest (Of coarse this would not be a problem if your door opens outward). So make sure the door anchor is securely fastened and will in no way come undone. Other than that I highly recommend this product, and so far it seems to be well worth the price.
